Grand Opening of Hunan YHLO Medical Device Industrial Park
On December 26, the Hunan YHLO Medical Device Industrial Park officially opened, coinciding with the annual major project commencement, completion, and production ceremony in Xiangtan High-Tech Zone. As one of the top ten landmark projects representing the return of Hunan entrepreneurs, this park marks a pivotal step in YHLO's strategic expansion in the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) field.
On the day of the event, government officials, YHLO Chairman Hu Kunhui, representatives from various industries, partners, and the company’s management team, attended the ceremony to celebrate this milestone together.
The Hunan YHLO Medical Instrument Innovation and Intelligence Park represents a total investment of 1 billion RMB, covering an area of 150 acres, with a constructed area of 102,400 square meters.
As YHLO’s largest industrial project outside its Shenzhen headquarters, the opening of this park holds profound strategic significance for the company. It not only advances YHLO’s strategic layout but also deepens the integration of production, education, research, and application, accelerating the transformation and application of technological innovations.
Focused on expanding YHLO's production capacity and aligning with the industrial strategies of Hunan Province and Xiangtan City, the park will attract high-quality upstream and downstream enterprises and resources. By leveraging its compatibility with local industries, it aims to rapidly establish a medical device industrial cluster centered around YHLO. This initiative will not only foster the sustainable development of the medical device industry but also promote synergies with other high-tech sectors such as engineering machinery and advanced materials, building a comprehensive industrial ecosystem.
Upon the completion of the project, Hunan YHLO, as a subsidiary, will collaborate with YHLO’s R&D centers in Japan and Changsha to focus on research, development, and production in the field of in-vitro diagnostics. The park will primarily support the R&D and production of YHLO’s high-speed biochemical analyzers and microfluidic products, striving to overcome technical bottlenecks and achieve mass production.
In addition, YHLO will join hands with local governments, private investors, and high-quality upstream and downstream enterprises to co-develop a national-level medical device innovation and intelligence base. Guided by the development philosophy of “innovation, smart manufacturing, and integration,” the park aims to establish a demonstration zone for the integrated development of the medical device industry. The ultimate goal is to make this park a flagship project for the growth of Hunan's medical device sector.
The opening of the Hunan YHLO Medical Device Industrial Park marks a significant step forward in YHLO’s technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the IVD field. Looking ahead, as the medical industry continues to evolve and market demands deepen, YHLO will leverage its extensive market strategies to consistently introduce more innovative and competitive products, contributing to the high-quality development of healthcare services in Xiangtan, across China, and globally.
