On September 15, 2023, Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry, Professor Arieh Warshel visited YHLO, accompanied by the leadership team from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). During the visit, discussions and exchanges took place on project research and development collaboration, university-industry cooperation, and other relevant topics. Professor Warshel expressed his anticipation for future collaborative opportunities and the potential for fruitful cooperation.

Professor Arieh Warshel is a Nobel laureate in chemistry, a member of the National Academy of Sciences in the United States, an honorary fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in the United Kingdom, and holds the position of Chair Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Southern California. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Warshel Institute for Computational Biology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen).
