On April 22, Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology published a research paper named "No SARS-CoV-2 detected in amniotic fluid in mid-pregnancy" in Lancet. 

In this study, two pregnant women who had been diagnosed with COVID-19 in early pregnancy were tested for SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid and antibodies in amniotic fluid samples during the second trimester. Serum IgG and IgM testing results of amniotic fluids were all negative, but their serum IgG or IgM were positive. The SARS-CoV-2 IgM and IgG assays (CLIA) used in this study was provided by Shenzhen YHLO Biotech Co., Ltd. The detailed information about the test result showed as below:

Up to now, more than 10 clinical research papers for COVID-19 diagnosis with using YHLO SARS-CoV-2 assays have been published by The Lancet Infectious Diseases, JAMA, International Journal of Infectious Diseases, Journal of Medical Virology, China Journal of Laboratory Medicine, International Journal of Laboratory Medicine, etc. Based on these papers, Joint detection of serum IgM and IgG antibodies to 2019-nCoV infection is an effective screening and diagnostic indicator for 2019-nCoV infection, and an effective complement to the false negative results to nucleic acid test.
